Are you unable to purchase items in the game?

If you click "confirm" on the purchase and see an endless, “Connecting to game” pop up, chances are that you have de-activated the Steam Overlay in the Steam settings.

 

To purchase items in the in-game store, the Steam Overlay must be activated.

To activate the Steam overlay follow these steps:

  • Start the Steam-client
  • Find the Steam menu in the top left corner of the Steam-client window.
  • In the drop-down menu that appears, click Settings.
  • In the window that appears there are several sections, select the section called "In-Game".
  • In this section you will see a checkbox with the description “Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game.” Make sure this is ticked.
  • Close the Settings window.
  • Right click the game in your Steam Library and select Properties.
  • An identical tick-box can be found here, make sure it is also ticked.
  • Try to start the game and purchase again.

I did it but nothing helped I am still in the purchase window and at the webside I get a error massage.

I have the overlay working and I'm getting this message "something wrong happened on our servers - Please try again"
but I still can't buy anything :(

I've redeemed my VRP, and when i try to finalize my purchase, I see an error message saying "a display error occurred" and nothing happens. Please help

I checked that the ticks are in the tickboxes but I still can't drive with the Porsche Gt3R or on the Nordschleife.

I have checked that the boxes are clicked on in both places for the Steam overlay. Still am getting the error message "a display error occurred" and am not able to complete my purchase. I've tried logging on using Steam but this does not get me to the store or work either.

I have money in my Steam Wallet but it does not ever show up in my Raceroom Shopping Cart. Tried everything to make a purchase - nothing happens. Worked OK before - not now!
